Walk Through Registration 
Monday, August 20th, 2012 

Dear parents and guardians:

In an effort to go green, some of the Walk-Through Registration materials are available online, please go to  http://www.walnutgrovepta.org/Registration  to read information regarding walk-through registration such as E/connection, Internet use, health insurance,  do not photograph, tobacco free, notice to parents and our parent/student handbook. You will need to print and sign rhe signature page and bring it with your on registration day.

Drive-through packet pickup will be on Thursday, August 16th and Friday, August 17th from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM,

Walk-through registration will be held in the Multi-Purpose Room on Monday, August 20th.

In order to expedite the registration process, we have established an alphabetical schedule. Please come during your assigned time-slot. 

There are no assigned time in the evening hours you may registered at any time.

 9:00 – 10:00 a.m.          A – F
10:00 – 11:00 a.m.          G – L
11:00 – 12:00 p.m.         M – R
12:00 –  1:00 p.m.           S – Z

5:00 – 8:00 p.m.              Open registration

Your child's teacher assignment will only be given after all forms have been turned in at  walk-through registration. This includes all forms requiring parent/child information and parents signature. 

You will also be able to join PTA,  donate to Dollar and Day, buy  spirit wear, order yearbook and sign up for different volunteer opportunities at our school.

Please carefully read the information below, and make sure you have the required paperwork on the day of the Walk-through.

BEFORE REGISTRATION

  1. Pick up Registration Package
    Thursday, August 16th and Friday, August 17th from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM (Drive Through Service by School Flag Pole)
    This Package includes important forms to be
    completed and returned at Walk-through Registration on August 20th.
    1. Medical Card
    2. Field Trip Registration
    3. PTA Directory Form
    4. Special Edition of Road Runner
  2. Please review Walk-through Registration Materials Below  - Read the information and print and return the forms labeled required (you will not be able to register your child without these documents ),  along with any forms marked optional that you choose at Walk-Through Registration Day on August 20th. 
REGISTRATION DAY - AUGUST 20TH

REGISTRATION MATERIAL (INFORMATION AND FORMS)

Proof of Residency (Required)

The Pleasanton Unified School District requires TWO different proof of residency at the time of registration for all families. The following are acceptable proofs of residency:

  • Current utility bill (complete bill) with parent’s or legal guardian’s printed name and service address (includes PG&E, water, garbage or cable, telephone(landline, NOT cell phone)
  • Settlement Statement or rental/lease agreement (with name, address, & telephone number of lessor)
  • Final escrow papers signed within the last 2 months

Emergency Card (Required) - Pick up on Registration Package August 16-17

  • Please check all printed information for accuracy and make any necessary changes on the card.  Please ensure all cell phone numbers are current.  Fill out the bottom portion with sibling names, adults authorized to pick-up your child, and medical information.

  • School Supply Kit - School supply kits are a suggested, voluntary donation to your child's classroom.
    If you pre-ordered a supply kit for your child on Spring, supplies will de delivered directly to your child's classroom on the first day of school. For suggested school supply list, please click here. During Registration there will be some kits available for new families.
