Pleasanton Partnerships in Education (PPIE) supports all 15 schools in the Pleasanton Unified School District. This year, we're aiming to raise $1 million to strengthen programs that directly benefit students—like music and library support at elementary schools, wellness services at middle and high schools, and grants for students and educators. Our suggested donation is $750 per student or $1500 per family, but every gift makes a difference. Help us reach 100% family participation—thank you for supporting our schools!
For the 2025–2026 school year, PPIE is proud to support the following programs at Walnut Grove Elementary.
Salary support for elementary music teacher Sharoyn Borris ensuring continued access to music education
Supplemented hour for librarian Annette Sodergren to keep the library open longer for student use and learning
Round-trip bus transportation for 5th Grade Outdoor Education, easing costs for families and school PTAs
District-wide wellness and mental health support, helping coordinate student programs across all schools
Annual PPIE Grants Program funding for teachers, students, school events, and student-led organizations
Each year, PPIE gives more to our schools than we receive from families—thanks to generous company matching and direct support from local businesses!
